Job summary

The New Zealand Customs Service is seeking a Change Advisor to support the eGate Replacement Project, a major technology transformation across New Zealand's international airports. The role is fixed-term through 30 September 2027 and can be based in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin or Wellington with regular domestic travel.

You will work with the Change Specialist and stakeholders to prepare for change via business readiness activities, communications, training support and implementation

Qualifications

• Hands-on change management experience (2–3 years).
• Experience with business readiness, stakeholder engagement or communications.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and track multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of change management and readiness activities.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate communications and training support.
• Assist deployment and go-live activities and Early Life Support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting across workstreams.
