We’re looking for an experienced HRIS and payroll professional to join our team as HRIS and Payroll Advisor. This is a permanent, full‑time role based at one of our Customhouse locations in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
In this role, you’ll report to the Team Leader HRIS Payroll and Reporting and play an important part in delivering accurate, timely and reliable payroll services across Customs. You’ll manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, maintain payroll data, and ensure timesheets are processed accurately and on time. Working in a complex rostered environment, you’ll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in providing trusted payroll advice and high‑quality service to the business.

To work for Customs, you must be able to meet the following requirements: Be a NewZealand Citizen or NewZealand Permanent Resident Residing in NewZealand at the time of application Have resided continuously in NewZealand for the last five years.
