Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Transformation Office in Wellington or Auckland on a 24-month fixed-term basis. You will translate strategy into outcomes, collaborate across technology, operations and business teams, and shape governance and customer-focused change.

You will lead end-to-end business analysis for complex transformation, including migrations, process design, requirements traceability, and workshop facilitation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting system or platform migrations, including current-to-future state analysis.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end business analysis on complex initiatives.
• Strong capability in eliciting, analysing, and documenting business, operational, and delivery requirements.
• Experience in business process improvement, design, and documentation.
• Confidence in facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience supporting other business analysts and contributing to practice standards.
• Experience working within complex programmes, governance frameworks, and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable recommendations and artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and engage diverse stakeholders across Kiwibank to shape recommendations.
• Support system migrations with current-to-future state analysis and readiness considerations.
• Ensure requirements traceability from concept through implementation and governance.
• Collaborate with technology, transformation, and business teams on complex initiatives.
