Zusammenfassung

KARL STORZ is seeking a Senior Biomedical Engineer NZ to lead the NZ workshop operations in Sandringham. You will manage equipment intake, ensure accurate service records in SAP and QMS, and perform inspections and repairs of capital medical equipment.

Role emphasises asset lifecycle management, regulatory compliance (ANZ 3551, Medsafe, TGA), software updates, and strong fault diagnosis. On-site role with hybrid flexibility in NZ.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years' experience in field biomedical engineering or a medical device service role.
• EWRB registration (EST/Electrician) with MCPA endorsement, or willingness to obtain.
• A degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of capital medical equipment.
• A full, current New Zealand driver's licence.
• Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the New Zealand workshop, including equipment intake and job prioritisation.
• Maintain service records, job tracking, and work orders within SAP and QMS.
• Inspect, test, and repair loan and demonstration equipment as required.
• Drive asset lifecycle management by identifying aging equipment and prioritising service or replacement.
• Conduct safety and performance testing per regulatory standards.
• Deliver preventative maintenance and responsive repair services across NZ.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and escalate when needed.
• Install and validate software updates and troubleshoot related issues.
• Ensure compliance with Medsafe, TGA, NZ health and safety laws, and ISO 13485.
