Stryker is seeking a Field Service Engineer to proactively maintain and repair advanced medical devices across hospitals in New Zealand. You will diagnose issues, perform on-site and remote support, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clinicians and teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Current driver’s license and willingness to travel within your state on short notice.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on tool use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on Stryker equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues onsite and remotely.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships with clinicians and hospital staff.
• Support customers across hospitals and surgical facilities.
• Ensure service activities meet ISO 13485 quality and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory, spare parts, and service documentation.
• Meet KPIs for responsiveness, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical Support, Customer Service, and Operations teams.
