At HEB Construction, we’re proud of the role we play in building and maintaining New Zealand’s transport infrastructure. We’re now looking for a motivated Sealing Labour / Operator to join our Surfacing team, supporting sealing and surfacing works across a range of projects.

This is a practical, hands‑on role where you’ll be part of a supportive crew delivering quality outcomes on essential roading infrastructure.

The role As a Sealing Labour / Operator, you’ll support the surfacing crew through a mix of plant operation and general labouring duties, helping ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with Supervisors and the wider team, contributing to day‑to‑day surfacing activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental responsibility.

What you’ll be doing

• Occasionally working night shifts, weekends, or additional hours, as reasonably required.

What we’re looking for

• Full Class 1 driver’s licence

Desirable (but not essential)

• Class 4 licence or higher
• D endorsement
• Safe handling of bitumen training
• Forklift and W, T, R endorsements
• Site Safe or Construct Safe certificate
• First Aid, confined space or working at heights tickets
• Previous experience in civil construction or surfacing
