Job summary

HEB Construction in Christchurch is seeking Multi‑Skilled Operators to join our busy civil and roading maintenance crew. You’ll work across a range of projects, operating plant and equipment to support crews on the ground and deliver safe, quality outcomes for Canterbury communities.

We offer 40 hours a week, competitive pay and ongoing training opportunities within a supportive team focused on safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Civil construction, roading maintenance or infrastructure experience.
• WTR endorsements and relevant licences ideally, minimum Class 4‑5.
• Experience operating a range of machinery.
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
• Ability to adapt and work across different tasks and projects.
• Willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Operating a variety of civil plant and machinery
• Earthworks, excavation, drainage and roading maintenance activities
• Supporting construction and maintenance projects across Christchurch
• Carrying out pre-start checks and basic equipment maintenance
• Working alongside experienced crews to deliver quality outcomes

What will you be doing?
