Job summary

Higgins is seeking an experienced Specialist Operator to join the Auckland Chipsealing Crew. You will be responsible for the safe, accurate operation of the bitumen sprayer and delivering high-quality road surfacing across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sprayer Operator in chipsealing or road surfacing.

The Higgins Green Team is looking for an experienced Specialist Operator to join our Auckland Chipsealing Crew. If you're skilled in operating a bitumen sprayer and take pride in delivering high-quality surfacing work, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the bitumen sprayer, ensuring accurate application and quality outcomes across a range of road maintenance and construction projects.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience as a Sprayer Operator within Chipsealing or road surfacing
• A Class 4 Driver Licence is essential, with a Class 5 Licence being an advantage
• Dangerous Goods endorsement preferred (we’ll support you to gain this if needed)
• A safety-first attitude, with a commitment to keeping yourself, your team, and the public safe
• A team-player mindset, with the flexibility and reliability to work in all conditions, rain or shine
• Passion for the industry, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow
