Job summary

CMC Markets in Auckland is seeking a detail-oriented Scrip & Custodial Operations Executive to join the Post Trade Operations team. You will help ensure accurate settlement of trades, safeguard client assets, and support post-trade operations across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in trade settlement, custody or investment operations within financial services
• A sound understanding of New Zealand clearing and settlement processes
• A collaborative approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with reconciliation or settlement systems will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Scrip & Custodial Operations Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of settlements and custody operations across Australia and New Zealand.
• You’ll ensure trades are settled accurately, client holdings are reconciled, corporate actions are processed efficiently and operational controls are maintained to the highest standard.
• Working closely with internal teams, registries, custodians and market participants, you’ll help deliver exceptional operational outcomes while contributing to continuous process improvements.
