Job summary

Thales in Queenstown, New Zealand, seeks a data-analyst to support management reporting, data collation, and regional inventory optimization. You will collate data from multiple sources and contribute to accurate demand analysis and risk management.

Collaborating with sales, product lines, and operations, you will help deploy NPI initiatives and align sourcing with the business outlook, requiring strong numerical, analytical, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or reporting.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office apps; advanced Excel and Power BI experience.
• Able to interact with staff at all levels and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Data administration and data collation from various sources
• Assist in various management reporting activities
• Supply Demand database build-up and demand analysis vs Business Outlook
• Optimization of the regional silicon inventories (silicon supplies follow-up, multi-sourcing optimization, analysis of the sourced demand)
• Risk Inventory management
• Review & Manages Last Buy & End of Life Supplies for the Region
• Supports deployment for NPI, migration with Product Lines, Sourcing and operation team
• Support the sales plan together with the Customer Service community

Requirements:

• Graduate with at least 2 - 3 years working experience
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS applications (Advanced Excel, Power BI, Power point).
• Able to work with staffs of all levels.
• Strong coordination and meticulous attention to detail.
