Job summary

Clark Products is hiring for a full-time, hands-on customer-facing role based in our Napier store. The position combines product deliveries with sales support, customer service, and regional relationship building.

You will spend part of each day visiting customers, delivering products, processing orders, and helping grow sales across the Hawke's Bay region, while maintaining strong branch collaboration.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn products, systems and sales processes.
• Ability to work as part of a branch team and independently when needed.
• Valid NZ driver's license and comfort with driving and delivering products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers across the Hawke’s Bay region.
• Build strong relationships with customers in-store and on-site.
• Support sales growth through regular customer contact and product conversations.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer enquiries and identify appropriate product solutions.
• Collaborate with the branch team to provide excellent service.

About the role

This is a hands-on customer-facing role, combining regular product deliveries with sales support, customer service, and relationship building. You will be based in our retail store providing sales and advice and for part of each day out on the road, visiting customers, delivering products, processing orders, and helping grow sales across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers across the wider Hawkes Bay region
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers instore and externally
• Support sales growth through regular customer contact and product conversations
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Respond to customer enquiries and help identify the right product solutions
• Follow a regular call plan and support branch sales activity
• Work closely with the branch team to deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain safe work practices when handling, loading, and delivering our products
• Represent the company professionally while on the road and with customers

About you

• A full Clean New Zealand drivers' licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
• Confidence dealing with customers face to face
• Have used Point of Sale
• The ability to work independently while staying connected to the branch team
• A willingness to learn products, systems, and sales processes
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves handling and delivering products
