Job summary

New Zealand Couriers is seeking a driven Business Development Consultant to join our Central North Island sales team. This field role focuses on meeting prospective customers face-to-face, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored courier solutions to drive revenue.

You’ll develop new business opportunities across the Central North Island, build a healthy sales pipeline, and negotiate commercial agreements while maintaining client onboarding and a seamless customer journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, field sales, or account management.
• Proven ability to win new customers and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial judgement and confidence negotiating with decision-makers.
• High levels of self-motivation, resilience, and accountability.
• Great organisational skills and the ability to manage your own schedule.
• A current full New Zealand Driver Licence.

The role

We’re looking for a driven and commercially savvy Business Development Consultant to join our Central North Island sales team. This is a true field sales role where you'll spend your time out meeting prospective customers and building relationships. You'll identify new business opportunities, understand customers' needs, and provide tailored courier solutions that add real value.
