Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a reliable Courier Driver to join the Canterbury region. The role is full-time with a minimum 30 hours per week and hourly pay between NZ$25.50 and NZ$28.50 depending on experience.

You will plan routes, load and unload parcels, deliver on time, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to NZTA standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow delivery routes and manage time effectively.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a Ministry of Justice check.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

We are seeking one reliable, punctual, and motivated Courier Driver to join us in Canterbury region. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and delivering excellent service to customers. This is a full-time role; minimum 30 hours weekly job paid between $25.50 - $28.50 per hour depending upon experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan daily delivery and collection routes.
• Load, transport and unload parcels and goods safely.
• Deliver parcels and goods to customers and businesses on time.
• Collect payments where required and maintain basic delivery records.
• Communicate with customers and provide good customer service.
• Check and maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean and safe condition.
• Ensure the vehicle is operated in accordance with required NZTA standards.
• Complete delivery and pick-up duties accurately and efficiently.
• Work as part of a team and assist with general courier duties when required.
• Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.

You will need:

• A safe and responsible approach to driving.
