Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island’s New World brand seeks a proactive coordinator to turn strategy into action across our store network. Working with the Head of New World, you’ll drive performance, support partnerships with owner-operators and store teams, and coordinate key workstreams.

You’ll develop meaningful reporting, craft clear communications such as the Daily Trolley Full, Weekly Sales updates and Head of New World Weekly Wrap, and help keep priorities moving while building a strong Foodies

Qualifications

• Energetic, initiative and detail-oriented; able to create structure in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; articulate ideas and present effectively.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration across a wide range of people.
• Proactive mindset to improve processes and efficiency.
• Strong Microsoft skills across Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
• Ability to use AI thoughtfully; Copilot experience useful.
• Understanding of retail, New World supermarkets and internal systems such as SAP beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and document delivery of New World strategies and projects.
• Partner with leadership to ensure initiatives land in stores.
• Analyze reports and data, highlight trends, develop extra reporting.
• Create engaging communications for New World Members (daily newsletter, weekly updates).
• Advocate for store teams; ensure clear, fit-for-purpose communications.
• Coordinate meetings and summaries for the Member Representation Committee.
• Support events with Events and Internal Communications teams; build a strong network across Foodies.
