Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Cambridge is recruiting a Retail Showroom Supervisor to oversee daily showroom operations and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. You will drive merchandising standards, staff coaching and roster planning to meet sales targets and maintain a safe, productive workplace.

• Role: Retail Showroom Supervisor
• Roster: Tuesday to Saturday
• Reports To: Cass Battley

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail showroom, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong team performance, and efficient operational processes. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in supporting team members, driving sales performance, and maintaining a high standard of presentation throughout the showroom.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and support showroom team members.
• Assist with staff training, performance management, and development.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.
• Support roster planning and day-to-day workforce management.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the showroom.
• Monitor workflow and prioritise daily tasks to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain showroom standards, merchandising, and presentation.

Customer Experience

• Deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and effectively.
• Build strong customer relationships and promote a positive shopping experience.

Inventory & Commercial Performance

• Monitor stock levels and work closely with Team Leaders on inventory management.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Support sales initiatives, promotions, and achievement of departmental targets.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Promote and maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Support adherence to all health and safety requirements.

Performance & Communication

• Monitor team and department performance against key objectives.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support overall store success.

• Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisor y or leadership position.
