Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is seeking a motivated supervisor for the PAK’nSAVE Queenstown store. You will assist the Customer Services Manager to deliver an excellent customer shopping experience and lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires 45 hours per week with weekend rosters. A Liquor Controllers Certificate and a General Managers Certificate (or eligibility) are essential, along with prior supervisory and alcohol sales experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and training staff in a busy retail or supermarket environment.
• Requires Liquor Controllers Certificate and a General Managers Certificate or eligibility.
• Available for full-time 45 hours/week, weekend rosters included.
• Experience handling the sale of alcohol is essential.
• Strong customer service focus and excellent communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of the checkout area to ensure friendly, fast, accurate service.
• Assist with team training and development needs.
• Promote health and safety and food safety initiatives across the department.
• Ensure processes for age-restricted product sales are followed.
