Job summary

JB Hi-Fi in New Zealand is seeking a customer-focused Retail Team Member to join our team. You will create, support and contribute to a high-performance culture to enable a great customer experience across the store.

You will provide a high level of customer service, hit sales targets, participate in training and follow the JB Hi-Fi selling steps while helping with merchandising and stock processes in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in being part of a high achieving team.
• Demonstrated ability in required skills and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service standards including pre, during and post the sale.
• Achieve sales targets by putting the customer at the centre and creating ‘Raving Fans’.
• Participate in suppliers, compliance and sales training modules.
• Participate in the STARS coaching program to learn and demonstrate the required sales behaviours.
• Understand JB HiFi 5 Steps of selling and demonstrate in all customer interactions.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and assist in maintaining a safe environment.
• Contribute to JB Hi-Fi brand and store experience through merchandising.
• Enable a safe work environment complying with OHS policies.
• Support stock delivery and receiving processes.
• Manage order fulfilment (delivery & click and collect) in line with procedures.
• Engage with Store Management and take on feedback to grow and learn.
• Assist with customer service on the counter and on floor payment devices.
• Assist Store Management across Sales, Merchandise and Operations areas.
