Job summary

JB Hi-Fi NZ is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Team Member to join our store. You will deliver a high level of customer service and help people choose great technology to power their lives.

You will contribute to a high‑performance culture, aim to meet sales targets, participate in training modules, and assist with merchandising, stock processing and order fulfilment. Safety and store standards are a priority.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in required skills and competencies

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service standards including pre, during and post the sale.
• Achieve sales targets for you and your store by putting the customer at the centre and contributing to “Raving Fans.”
• Participate in suppliers, compliance and sales training modules
• Participate in STARS coaching program to learn and demonstrate the required sales behaviours
• Understand and demonstrate the JB Hi-Fi 5 Steps of selling in all customer interactions
• Demonstrate safe work practices and assist in providing a safe and healthy environment
• Contribute to merchandising of all products on the sales floor, adhering to JB Hi-Fi Merchandise standards
• Enable a safe work environment for you, team and customers, adhering to OHS policies and procedures
• Support stock delivery and processing into store per receiving processes
• Manage order fulfilment (delivery & click and collect) and handle enquiries
• Engage with Store Management and take feedback to improve
• Assist with customer service on the counter and on floor payment devices
• Assist across Sales, Merchandise and Operations as required

Job Description

  • Participating in all suppliers, compliance and sales training modules
  • Participate in the STARS coaching program to learn and demonstrate the required sales behaviours
  • Understand the JB HiFi 5 Steps of selling and demonstrate in all customer interactions
• Demonstrate safe work practices and assist the company in providing a safe and healthy environment.
• Contribute to the JB HI-FI brand and store experience by assisting with merchandising of all products on the sales floor, adhering to JB Hi-Fi Merchandise standards
• Enable a safe work environment for you, your team and customers, ensuring all OHS policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Support the efficient delivery and processing of stock into store, following store receiving processes
• Manage order fulfilment (delivery & click and collect) in line with procedures, including product pick and pack & dispatch, order fulfilment enquiries
• Engage positively with Store Management, take on board feedback to continuously grow and learn
• Assist with customer service requirements on the counter and on floor payment devices
• Assist the Store Management team, where required across our Sales, Merchandise and Operations areas
