Job summary

Te Puke Thai Limited in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, is seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver excellent customer service, supervise staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chef to update the menu based on customer feedback and sales performance to maximise profitability.
• Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, food quality, and overall dining experience.
• Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to support uninterrupted service.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Prepare staff rosters and manage shift scheduling to maintain efficient service levels.
• Monitor sales performance, operating costs, and daily cash reconciliation.
• Train and support staff in customer service standards, product knowledge, and workplace procedures.
