The role offers a competitive pay rate of NZD 25–28 per hour, minimum 30 hours per week, and full-time rostered shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience or Level 4 or higher qualification in Business/commerce/management/sales/Arts or relevant field.
• Reliable and punctual.
• A clear and confident communicator.
• Calm and efficient under pressure.
• Ministry of Justice check and pre-employed drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services.
• Responding to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services.
• Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties.
• Interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, dismissing and promoting staff.
• Resolving staff grievances.
• Instructing staff on handling difficult and complicated sales procedures.
• Examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action.
• Taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock.
• Ensuring goods and services are correctly priced and displayed.
• Ensuring safety and security procedures are enforced.

We are a restaurant here in Christchurch, New Zealand, and we are looking forAssistant Manager to join our team! You must be skilled, hardworking, and have theability to workin high pressure environments.
We offer competitve pay, between $25 to $28.00 (depending on experience) and aminimum of 30 hours per week. This is a fulltime role; work is as per the roster, Mondayto Sunday.
