Job summary

Edwards & Hardy Roofing in Hamilton is seeking an entry-level salesperson to generate residential sales through door knocking, cold calling and follow-ups. You will be trained and will work with company pricing and processes to close opportunities.

You will receive a competitive base salary plus generous commission opportunities and full training, with hours that may extend beyond normal business times. A NZ driver’s licence and 12 months sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid New Zealand driver's licence.
• Right to work in New Zealand.
• At least 12 months of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Door knocking within an assigned residential territory.
• Identify prospective residential customers and generate sales opportunities.
• Follow up prospective and existing customers.
• Explain standard residential products and services using company information.
• Prepare standard quotations using approved pricing and processes.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information.
• Refer non-standard requirements to senior or technical team.
• Work towards agreed sales targets with support from the Sales Manager.
