Job summary

Edwards and Hardy Roofing in New Plymouth, North Island, is seeking a roofer to install, repair and maintain roofs using Long Run, concrete tiles, metal tiles and membranes. You will work with a team to deliver projects on time and to high standards, while following safety regulations and company policies.

We value practical roofing skills, eye for detail, and the ability to work safely at heights in all weather.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of roofing experience
• Strong practical skills and high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions
• Experience with concrete tile and membranes is highly regarded
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to take direction from management
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport
• Reliability and punctuality

As a Roofer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of roofing materials to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain roofs using a range of roofing materials such as Long Run, Concrete Tiles, Metal Tiles and Membranes
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients and management throughout the project

About you

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience Roofing, working with a variety of roofing materials
• Strong practical skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
• The ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions
• Experience with concrete tile and membrane highly regarded
• Good problem-solving and communication skills to liaise with clients
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively while taking instruction from Management
• Current driver's license and your own reliable transport
• Reliability and punctuality
• PPE provided
• Full-time position with guaranteed hours
