Job summary

Edwards and Hardy Roofing in New Plymouth, North Island, is seeking a roofer to install, repair and maintain roofs using Long Run, concrete tiles, metal tiles and membranes. You will work with a team to deliver projects on time and to high standards, while following safety regulations and company policies.

We value practical roofing skills, eye for detail, and the ability to work safely at heights in all weather.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of roofing experience
• Strong practical skills and high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions
• Experience with concrete tile and membranes is highly regarded
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to take direction from management
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport
• Reliability and punctuality
• PPE provided

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain roofs using materials such as Long Run, Concrete Tiles, Metal Tiles and Membranes
• Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and to customer satisfaction
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients and management throughout the project
