Job summary

Breen Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Alexandra, New Zealand. You will lead our Construction Lite team, coordinating people and processes to keep multiple residential projects on time and within budget while upholding high quality.

Ideal candidates are qualified carpenters with strong admin skills, capable of reading drawings, managing safety, and building solid relationships with suppliers and clients. This full-time role offers growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in construction with direct experience in residential project management.
• Analytical and logical approach to organizing and carrying out work.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Personal drive, initiative and curiosity to solve problems.
• Strong understanding of H&S at Work Act.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and numeracy.
• Ability to work in a team but also independently and unsupervised.
• Able to learn new technology quickly and build relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate people and processes to ensure work is delivered on time and to budget without compromising quality.
• Run multiple projects at a time and act as the go-to person for project organisation and timeline.
