Metlifecare is seeking a Resident Experience Manager for St Andrew's Village in Cambridge. This hands-on, part-time role (20 hours/week) focuses on creating an engaging resident experience, coordinating events, and connecting residents with wellbeing services.

You’ll build relationships with residents, families and local groups while supporting new residents through transition. The role emphasizes community inclusion and a welcoming environment, with flexibility around working days and times to

Qualifications

• Experience in events, customer or guest experience, community engagement or similar role.
• Strong event planning and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good digital skills and confidence using online platforms and applications.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• First Aid Certificate and full driver’s licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate engaging village events, activities, outings and resident experiences.
• Build a strong sense of community, belonging and connection across the village.
• Support new residents through their transition into village life, including welcomes and buddy initiatives.
• Build relationships with residents, families and local groups and service providers.
• Manage village communications, newsletters, notices and event promotions.
• Encourage resident-led activities, volunteering and community participation.
• Help residents connect with wellness and support services while preserving independence.
• Gather resident feedback to improve the resident experience.
