Job summary

Metlifecare's St. Andrew's Village in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Grounds Manager to uphold service excellence. You’ll supervise maintenance, gardening, and safety, while remaining hands-on.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with on-call flexibility when required, aiming to keep residents safe, comfortable and proud of their home. You’ll work closely with the Village Manager and residents, delivering reliable improvements and building strong relationships with

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service.
• Experience in maintenance planning, property renewal, or renovation projects.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Practical, solutions-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Team leadership experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the village meets Building Warrant of Fitness requirements and health and safety standards.
• Coordinate and deliver day-to-day repairs, maintenance, and gardening across the village.
• Manage contractors and ensure high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget.
