Job summary

Summerset Holdings in Cambridge is seeking an experienced, people‑first Village Manager to lead our growing retirement village. This role focuses on daily operations, staff development, financial performance and delivering a first‑class resident experience.

You’ll inspire teams, manage budgets, and partner with residents and families to shape a warm, safe community. Previous P&L responsibility and strong people leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational or branch management with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy and strong communication.
• Ability to manage staffing, budgets, and long-term planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily village operations with a focus on quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.
• Manage financial performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Lead, coach, and develop your team across multiple functions.
• Foster a strong sense of community and culture for residents and staff.
• Support delivery of strategic goals and compliance standards.
• Represent the Summerset brand in the local community.
