Job summary

Radius Care Whangārei is seeking a dedicated activities coordinator to organise and run person-centred event programmes for residents. You will work with a MDT to create individual activity plans, ensure a variety of creative activities are available, and support diary planning within budgeted parameters.

Qualifications

• Excellent people and team skills, with experience working with the elderly and their families.
• Resourceful, flexible, patient and motivated.
• Great communicator, dynamic and outgoing, with a sense of humour.
• Efficient at managing time.
• A clean full driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with social activities and personal calendars.
• Work with MDT to formulate individual activity plans.
• Liaise with the team to ensure a variety of activities are brought into the facility.
• Operate within budgeted parameters.
