Qualifications

• Proven experience caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Full NZ driver’s license and confidence in driving a van.
• A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
• A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver activity programs that meet the individual physical, spiritual, cultural, cognitive, and emotional needs of residents.
• Plan, organise and deliver activities, outings, events, and involvement in community groups.
• Work with residents and whānau-family to create a caring and supportive environment.
