Job summary

Radius Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our Tauranga facility on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, negotiable days and shifts). You will design and run person-centred activity programmes, coordinate with a MDT, and ensure diverse activities are available for residents.

Qualifications

• Relevant recognized qualification preferred
• Excellent people and team skills, with experience working with the elderly and their families
• Resourceful, flexible, patient and motivated
• Great communicator, dynamic and outgoing, with a sense of humour
• Efficient at managing time
• A clean full driver's license

Responsibilities

• Organize and run person-centred event programmes for our facility’s residents
• Work with your team to formulate individual activity plans for each resident
• Ensure a variety of creative activities are brought into the facility and made available
• Duties include: Supporting residents with social activities, diary planning and personal calendars
• Working with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to formulate individual activity plans for residents
