Job summary

Radius Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our Tauranga facility on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, negotiable days and shifts). You will design and run person-centred activity programmes, coordinate with a MDT, and ensure diverse activities are available for residents.

• Organize and run person-centred event programmes for our facility’s residents
• Work with your team to formulate individual activity plans for each resident
• Ensure a variety of creative activities are brought into the facility and made available
• Duties include: Supporting residents with social activities, diary planning and personal calendars
• Working with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to formulate individual activity plans for residents
• Liaising with the team to ensure a variety of activities are brought into the facility

Location: Radius Althorp, 9 Grantston Drive, Pyes Pa, Tauranga

Hours of work: 20 hours per week, with days and shifts negotiable

Pay rate: Subject to completed recognised qualifications

Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for this role. Applicants must have a current, open work visa, with at least 6 months left until expiry.

Organize and run person-centred event programmes for our facility’s residents. Work with your team to formulate individual activity plans for each resident. Ensure a variety of creative activities are brought into the facility and made available. Must have previous experience as an activities coordinator or diversional therapist.
