Job summary

Radius Care in Tauranga is seeking an Activities Coordinator for a part-time role (20 hours/week, negotiable shifts) to plan and run resident activities. You will develop individual activity plans with the MDT and ensure a varied programme of creative events within budgeted parameters.

Applicants must have relevant recognised qualifications and strong people skills. A clean full driver’s license is essential. Previous experience in activities coordination or diversional therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and run person-centred event programmes for residents.
• Work with the MDT to formulate individual activity plans.
• Ensure a variety of creative activities are brought into the facility.
• Support residents with social activities, diary planning and personal calendars.
