Job summary

Airways New Zealand is seeking a Remuneration and People Insights Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term parental cover engagement, based at the Auckland airport office. The role focuses on remuneration, people analytics, performance and people systems, turning data into practical insights and advising stakeholders.

You’ll support the annual remuneration review, benchmarking, salary bands, and job sizing, while developing dashboards and reports to inform decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• Practical remuneration experience, including exposure to areas such as remuneration analysis, benchmarking or annual review processes.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills, with confidence working with people and remuneration data.
• Excellent attention to detail and a focus on producing accurate, reliable work.
• Ability to translate data and technical information into clear, practical advice.
• Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• Interest in developing broader capability across people analytics, performance, and people systems.
• Resilience and agility to work in a dynamic environment, take ownership and collaborate to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide remuneration advice and analysis to stakeholders across Airways.
• Deliver annual remuneration review, including modelling, analysis, coordination, and reporting.
• Undertake remuneration benchmarking and market analysis and support salary bands and job sizing.
• Develop high-quality people reporting, dashboards and insights.
• Support performance processes and the systems and data underpinning the performance cycle.
• Contribute to optimisation and continuous improvement of people systems, processes and data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver practical solutions.
