Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Civil Engineer to design, plan and oversee infrastructure projects for the Queenstown region. You will work from anywhere while guiding the execution of roads, bridges, and utilities through a dispersed team.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in civil infrastructure, Pr Eng registration, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D. A strong remote-work capability and adherence to regulations are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in civil engineering with infrastructure focus.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
• Strong remote communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop infrastructure plans for sites, transportation networks and utilities.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and proposals.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments and risk analyses.
• Oversee remote construction phases and advise site supervisors.
• Ensure design and project execution comply with standards, codes and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate virtually with clients, contractors and regulators.
