Placements24 seeks a diligent Site Engineer for a premier civil project in Queenstown, NZ. You will supervise on-site activities, enforce quality control, read drawings, and coordinate with subcontractors and engineers to keep milestones on track.

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 4+ years’ experience, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. A strong safety culture and accurate reporting are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 4 years' site engineering or related civil/construction experience.
• Experience supervising activities and QA.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site construction activities per plans.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Assist PM/CM in planning site works.
• Manage site resources: labour, materials, equipment.
• Report technical issues and deviations.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Maintain site records and progress updates.
