Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and experienced Remote Instructional Designer to spearhead the development of engaging e-learning experiences. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to contribute from anywhere and to apply instructional design principles with technology to create effective online courses for diverse audiences.

Collaborate with SMEs, graphic designers, and multimedia developers to transform content into learning modules that meet specific objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and developing e-learning courses.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and their functionalities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging e-learning courses, instructor-led training materials, and blended learning solutions.
• Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create learner-centered experiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to analyze learning needs, define learning objectives, and gather content.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, and content outlines for online courses.
• Create interactive elements, assessments, and multimedia content using authoring tools.
• Ensure all learning materials are accessible, inclusive, and adhere to brand and quality standards.
• Manage e-learning development projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and make recommendations for improvement.
