Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Remote HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across our client’s operations. This fully remote role focuses on building a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering comprehensive HSE policies and procedures from anywhere, with potential links to Queenstown initiatives.

The role requires 8+ years of HSE leadership, a strong background in risk management, and certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably in oil & gas.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management techniques, and safety management systems.
Experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures.
NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the HSE management system.
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
Ensure compliance with national and international HSE regulations and standards.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
Promote a strong safety culture through leadership and engagement.
Manage environmental impact assessments and waste management strategies.
