Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Field Application Engineer with a solid electrical engineering background to support key customers globally. You will serve as the main technical interface, conduct virtual demonstrations, deliver deep-dive trainings, and troubleshoot complex integration challenges from a home office.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in a technical field-facing role, strong knowledge of semiconductor devices and embedded systems, and proficiency in C/C++

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a Field Application Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, microcontrollers, embedded systems, and associated peripherals.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic circuits and systems.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical audiences virtually.
• Self-motivated, with a strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
• Experience with C/C++ programming for embedded systems is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with various communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB).
• Willingness to travel occasionally for critical customer meetings or site visits, if required.

Mansioni

• Provide remote technical support and application engineering expertise to customers integrating our client's semiconductor products.
• Conduct virtual product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training sessions for customer engineering teams.
• Assist customers with product selection, design-in activities, and application development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to product performance and integration through remote collaboration tools.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, application notes, and reference designs.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development and marketing teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and support sales activities by providing pre-sales technical consultation.
• Stay current with the latest technological trends and competitive landscape in the semiconductor industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with internal sales, marketing, and R&D teams.
