Job summary

Avnet is seeking an Applications Engineer to help customers explore AMD FPGA, Adaptive SoC, and embedded x86 solutions from a work-from-home base with travel to customer sites. You’ll collaborate with account managers and AMD specialists to map customer needs to technical options, deliver demonstrations, and drive projects forward.

You will learn rapidly, communicate clearly with customers, and use AI tools to plan multi-step work while maintaining high standards of accuracy and information

Qualifications

Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Interest in AMD FPGA and embedded x86 products.
Ability to work autonomously and with customers.

Responsibilities

Learn customers' products and goals, connect them with AMD technologies and specialist support.
Build relationships with customers through visits, technical discussions, demonstrations, and follow-up.
Coordinate with colleagues and AMD specialists to address questions and opportunities.
Prepare clear presentations, demonstrations, training materials, and written updates.
Use AI tools to plan, research, and organize follow-up while ensuring accuracy and data protection.
