Job summary

Hato Hone St John is seeking a capable individual to cover for the Helensville Retail Store Manager on an as-needed basis. The role requires flexibility to step in for sickness, holidays, or unforeseen leave, with no guaranteed hours.

You will support store operations, manage donations, restock, price goods, and drive customer service while leading volunteers. This role suits someone with retail supervisory experience and a passion for helping the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory role.
• An interest in second-hand goods.
• Ability to lead and motivate volunteers.
• Customer focused with a can-do attitude.
• Organised with an eye for detail.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Be physically fit as you will be on your feet all day and lifting and carrying donations.
• Be over the age of 18.
• The role is 80% mahi and 20% support and 100% rewarding.

Cover for our Store Manager on an as and when needed basis to ensure the smooth running of our Helensville Retail Store. Flexibility and reliability is key. There will not be guaranteed hours in this role, the role covers for the Manager or Assistant Manager in the case of sickness, holidays or unforeseen leave.
