Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capable administrator to support fast-track resource management processes in Wellington, NZ. You will assist Application Leads with processing under the Fast-track Approvals Act 2024 and related legislation, while ensuring timely, compliant handling of applications.

You will also perform basic GIS map making, maintain stakeholder relationships, manage website communications, and assist with procurement and contract management.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in resource management or natural sciences.
• Clear, concise written and oral communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good level of MS Office application skills.
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Ability to relate to a wide range of people.
• Focus on details under pressure.
• GIS experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Application Leads with processing applications under the Fast-track Approvals Act 2024 and other resource management legislation.
• Process applications in a timely manner and in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Undertake basic GIS map making to support required documents.
• Maintain good stakeholder relationships.
• Manage website communications.
• Undertake procurement for services and contract management.
