Financial Markets Authority (FMA) seeks an Adviser to join the Financial Advice team in Auckland. You will supervise and monitor a broad range of Financial Advice Providers, from sole advisers to large banks, insurers and investment managers, identifying risks and promoting fair outcomes.

You will engage with regulated entities, assess misconduct, and contribute to industry engagements and workshops, with a focus on building trust in New Zealand’s financial markets.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct strategic conduct supervision using FMA's risk-based, outcomes-focused framework
• Engage with market participants under our Entity-Based Monitoring principles
• Review compliance with financial markets legislation and collaborate with internal teams
• Identify risks and harms and apply regulatory tools to address them
• Support continuous improvement of monitoring and regulatory practices
• Engage with regulated entities, conduct monitoring reviews and respond to issues or misconduct
