Job summary

The Doctors Te Whare Hapara in Gisborne, NZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 6-month fixed-term, 8 hours per week. You will join a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality primary care within The Doctors Medical Centres network.

Candidates hold NZ practising certificates with experience in a medical centre; smear taker preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to Treaty of Waitangi, and ongoing professional development are valued.

Qualifications

• NZ practicing certificate and current practice in a medical centre

This is a 6 month fixed term position working 8 hours per week.

Do you have what we are looking for?

• A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)
• Experience in Primary Care setting preferred
• Fully experienced practice nurse
• Current fully qualified smear taker
• Previous experience working in a medical practice preferred
• Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
• Willing to continually learnand improve
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
• You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
