Fire and Emergency New Zealand is seeking a Region Trainer to support the Region Learning Delivery team and strengthen operational capability across New Zealand. The role involves delivering training to Chief Fire Officers, Controllers and Station Training Coordinators, and may include national delivery at Woolston, NTC Rotorua and other training centres.

The position requires flexibility for evening and weekend hours and occasional national travel to meet volunteer training needs.

Qualifications

• Current operational experience and strong knowledge of Fire and Emergency New Zealand environments.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with District Management Teams, Chief Fire Officers, Controllers and Station Training Coordinators.
• Experience within the volunteer and/or career sectors.
• The ability to deliver high-quality training while providing practical, hands-on support to learners.

Responsabilités

• Support region-based training delivery teams and provide training support to Chief Fire Officers, Controllers and Station Training Coordinators.
• Deliver training nationally at Woolston, NTC Rotorua and other training centres as required.
• Develop and support volunteers and personnel to deliver effective integrated emergency services across New Zealand.
