Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites applications for a full‑time Administrative Coordinator in the Canterbury Radiology Service at Christchurch Hospital. The role focuses on recruitment, onboarding and movement of the medical workforce, working closely with radiology leadership, recruitment colleagues and medical staff.

You will coordinate communications, interviews and the steps required from appointment to commencement, ensuring accurate records and smooth onboarding for Senior Medical

Qualifications

• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate candidate communication, interviews and associated administration.
• Track recruitment activity and proactively follow up outstanding actions.
• Coordinate administrative requirements between appointment and commencement.
• Arrange onboarding and induction for new medical staff.
• Maintain accurate recruitment, onboarding and workforce records.
• Coordinate administration for visiting health professionals and prospective trainees.
• Support offboarding when members of our medical workforce leave.
