Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Transport Planner to join a significant distribution network's operations in Queenstown. Qualifications

• 2+ years in transport planning or logistics coordination.
• Ability to create efficient and cost-effective delivery routes.
• Strong knowledge of Queenstown area road network.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with drivers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily delivery routes for the company fleet.
• Allocate vehicles and drivers based on capacity and delivery requirements.
• Monitor progress and address delays or issues.
• Liaise with drivers to provide clear instructions and support.
• Communicate delivery times and changes to customers.
• Maintain records of transportation activities (mileage, fuel, deliveries).
• Coordinate with fleet maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
• Analyze route performance and identify improvements.
