Placements24 is seeking a Project Manager for on-site Queenstown to drive logistics and supply chain optimization projects, implementing tracking technologies and enhancing warehouse management systems in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management within the logistics or supply chain sector.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, warehouse operations, and transportation management.
Experience with implementing ERP systems or WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Visio).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, or similar operational environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of projects aimed at enhancing logistics and supply chain operations.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments (operations, warehousing, transportation) and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies within the supply chain.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee the implementation of new technologies and process improvements within warehouse and transportation systems.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to logistics and supply chain.
Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful adoption of new operational strategies.
