Work type: Permanent - Full-time

As the Project Manager – New Business for Linfox in New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in our growth agenda. Working as 2IC to the National Business Development Manager, you will lead the tender and RFP responses that win new business – partnering closely with our Business Development, Commercial and Operations teams to turn complex customer requirements into compelling, winning proposals across warehousing and transport.
Operating cross-functionally, this role is the operational engine of our New Zealand business development function. You will own the analytical and administrative heavy‑lifting of the bid process, bring structure and discipline to the pipeline, and free up the National Manager to focus on customers and growth. It is also a genuine succession pathway into the National Business Development Manager role over time.
You are a sharp, analytical operator with a background in business development support, bid/tender management or project management in a B2B environment. Logistics experience is an advantage but not essential – what matters most is that you are commercially minded, operationally aware, a strong writer, and genuinely motivated to represent Linfox and win. You are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and building relationships that grow over time.
At Linfox, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where our people can perform at their best. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, identities and perspectives. We recognise and respect Māori as tangata whenua and value the contribution of Māori and Pasifika peoples, alongside people of diverse genders, ages, religions, abilities, sexual orientations and cultures.
You will be required to meet Linfox's employment criteria which will include, but not be limited to, a criminal history check and full medical with a drug and alcohol test.
