Job summary

Momentum Consulting in Auckland airport is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the finance team, providing high‑quality financial insight and commercial guidance to the Transport business unit.

Based in Auckland, you will manage Transport unit P&Ls, consolidate weekly and monthly reports, analyse key drivers, partner with managers to maximise profit, and support budgeting, forecasting and customer profitability initiatives with the CEO, CFO, GMs and the wider finance team.

Qualifications

• Our target candidate will hold a post-graduate qualification in Business or Accounting, with CPA/CA preferred.
• Experience in Transport and Logistics, 3PL, or related industry is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing Transport business unit P&Ls to ensure targets are met.
• Consolidating, producing and distributing weekly P&Ls and monthly variance reports and commentary.
• Analysing key financial and non-financial drivers to add value across Transport.
• Partnering with business unit managers to develop profit-maximising strategies.
• Preparing budgets and updating data in the Finance Management System.
• Courier billing, revenue calculation and cost of sales coding.
• Preparing forecasts, customer sales reports and STI schedules.
• Contributing to customer profitability reporting development.

What We're Looking For

• Post-graduate qualification in Business or Accounting, including CPA/CA
• Experience within Transport and Logistics, 3PL, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or a related industry is preferred but not essential
