Job summary

DIALOG Fitzroy Ltd in Whangārei, Northland, is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering, fabrication and construction projects from start to finish.

You will develop plans, schedules and budgets, monitor performance, coordinate engineers, site teams, subcontractors and clients, and manage contracts to deliver safe, on-time and on-budget outcomes. The role includes mentoring team members and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering engineering, construction, fabrication, or industrial projects.
• 5+ years' project management experience in a relevant industry.
• Strong track record of delivering profitable projects safely and successfully.
• Sound commercial acumen and contract management experience.
• Exceptional planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate project teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Current legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present project performance updates to senior leadership.
• Mentor and support engineers and project team members.
• Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future work.
• Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all project activities.

What You'll Be Doing
