What You'll Be Doing
As Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the delivery of engineering, fabrication, and construction projects from start to finish
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources
- Monitor project performance, including cost control, forecasting, risk management, and reporting
- Coordinate engineers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to achieve project objectives
- Manage contract obligations, variations, and commercial outcomes
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Prepare and present project performance updates to senior leadership
- Mentor and support engineers and project team members
- Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future work
- Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all project activities
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience delivering engineering, construction, fabrication, or industrial projects
- At least 5 years' project management experience in a relevant industry
- A strong track record of delivering profitable projects safely and successfully
- Sound commercial acumen and contract management experience
- Exceptional planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to lead, coach, and motivate project teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Current legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
